This corner of the room is given over to domesticity, though not entirely. A small sink sits beneath a lamp and mirror, its basin stained brown from years of tea. On the ledge rests an electric razor.
The counter is home to a gleaming teapot, a plain mug, and — less comfortably — a jar with something disturbingly like a brain afloat within.
Beneath the sink a kettle sits next to a soldering iron, while lab equipment gives way to more computer cases. Nearby a small bass amplifier and a melodeon take up the remaining space between the variable power supply, oscilloscope and the bed.
Oh the other side, a built-in cupboard holds an assortment of jars, tins, mugs, and spreads.
