Maarten's room: couch & bed

An elderly yellow couch commands this side of the room. It remains a loyal seat, dresser, table, and occasional bed. Draped across it is a battered tartan rucksack, once your sister’s, now your daily companion.

Between couch and desk rests a weary office chair, salvaged from university halls and still doing service. The bed, pushed up nearby, is equally crowded with clutter, though it doubles as extra seating when friends arrive.

Beneath the bed lie boxes of tools and components, while under the couch itself hides a bass guitar in its case. Alongside it rests a pair of bass shakers, waiting to thunder when called upon.

Behind the couch, the windows provide a good view of the company across the street. Their colourful frames and curtains providing a nice contrast with the white walls and ceiling.
